Choir Tour | Orchestra Tour to Belgium:
GHENT – one of the most beautiful cities in Europe
The capital city of East Flanders has, like no other Flemish city, century-old cultural monuments. Alongside two medieval castles and 19 museums, many architecturally interesting churches and historical buildings. Worth visiting in particular is the Cathedral with the famous painting “Adoration of the Mystic Lamb”.
BRUSSELS – the capital of Europe
The city is made up of six completely different parts: the historic city centre is a heart-shaped pentagon, decorated with a number of landmarks, whose highlight is the Grote Market with the City Hall’s 96 m high tower. In 1958, the modern landmark of the city was built – the Atomium. The model of a crystal lattice was extended on the occasion of the World Exhibition by 165 billion times its original size to a grand 102 metres.
BRUGES – European City of Culture 2002
The centre of the old Hanseatic city and the capital of the West Flanders province is the market with the beautiful façade of the city hall. The old town, which is surrounded by ramparts and canals, is impressive due to its good condition. A special experience here is a guided boat trip on the canals of the picturesque city.
ANTWERP – the ultimate city of diamonds
Antwerp owes its world-wide reputation to the diamond trade and industry. Six centuries of music and arts and crafts as well as dozens of museums and churches evince the cultural heritage of this renowned old city. The cathedral, decorated with works of art by Rubens, is the country’s major gothic church.
