BADEN-BADEN – a magical metropolis in the Black Forest
Even the Romans appreciated and used the hot springs in Baden-Baden, and at the end of the 19th century, Baden-Baden was the “summer capital of Europe”. Visitors here feel and enjoy
the special international flair and the agreeable joie de vivre. The numerous villas of the rich and beautiful, the thermal springs, the largest festival theatre in Germany as well as the spa house and the famous casino radiate the flair of an international spa.

THE BLACK FOREST – Germany’s highest low mountain range
The Black Forest, known world-wide for its hot springs and an impressive landscape stretches in a north-south direction east of the Upper Rhine Plain. Worth visiting in particular are the cities of Baden-Baden and Freiburg, as well as the magnificently furnished abbeys in St. Blasien and St. Märgen. The most frequently visited tourist destination is lake Titisee, but other interesting tourist sites such as the Black Forest High Road or the German Clock Route lead to charming destinations of Germany’s number 1 holiday region.
